Proposal at a Castle| Trish+Timo

This story takes me back to when I was a small boy… – In my head – I was a fan of this series about princes and princesses and horses near castles  long before I  came across an actual Tv show. I would wake up exhausted from running from imaginary dragons  then go on a quest to find a princess i could rescue! Well, lets just say this time i came across prince charming – Timo, a man who has caused many a fight between potential spouses just by the manner he proposed to Trish. He had pulled off one in a millenium engagement feat at the remote Tafaria Castle in Nyahururu. Joe and I had to take a small road trip to witness the reenactment and I must say, I have never laughed as hard as i did from Timo’s rib cracking jokes…. This was my second time at The Majestic Tafaria Castle after having had the honours of being the first ever photographer to shoot a wedding couple there last year (see here)

 

Tafaria Castle is a 25 room lodge built on a hill overlooking the Aberdare Range, Laikipia Plains and Mount Kenya, halfway between Nyeri and Nyahururu in Kenya.
