Sun, Rain and Rainbow Love | Liz and Evans
Most brides almost choke at the thought of rain at their wedding. “Why me?” ” Why God!!! My day is ruined, HOW!!!” Ummmm not Liz!! She was calmer than i was. Nothing was going to dampen her spirit and actually the universe finally gave in and rewarded her with the most beautiful sunset, clear and golden and tied for her a rainbow ribbon to seal the skies, never seen again at a wedding. Talk of blessings!
and immediately struck a cord, we did their engagement shoot which was a trend setter and talk of the town for weeks – see it here: and I had looked forward to this day myself being the adventure seeker I am.
This day was yet another high for Liz and Evans who met 10 years ago – yes 10 as in TEN years and started dating three months later on 3rd September 2004. They truly inspire me and I wish them the very best in their marriage. Enjoy 🙂
the shoes were just right
Then Liz had to pose next to her dress to dispel rumours that her dress was not real 😀
Meanwhile Evans was getting nervous…
there were a few minutes left for some last minute selfies
This shot was one of those you cant replicate… #unposed
cool or what!
When Liz finally arrived, Evans could not hold himself back, He truly loves her… 🙂
This is the breathtaking view of the Thika Greens
That moment you get spotted by well wishers #me and the farmer 😀
Joe Maina put his camera down ( see bottom left of pic) to help out with the Music – you must have seen him before on Tv right? 😀
I loved this sincere two way gaze
remember the Wambui Otieno Kiss?
we had a small break and a mini shoot just before the rains started pounding..
Talk of photo bombing
International musicians were on que
this was one dramatic moment where all the men ran away from the “responsibility”
atleast the ladies’ version went well 🙂
Evans was still hanging out with his boys and it was hard to pull him away for the evening shoot. He has quite the connection with people 🙂
I Spotted the rainbow outside and pounced on the opportunity…
Just then the clouds cleared for a moment and allowed us these lovely portraits as it set!
Then there was this shot that I had been dreaming about for months and God finally allowed me… the effects are all natural caused by the rain!!!
Once again I congratulate Liz and Evans and thank them for allowing us to be a part of their story.
