Yvonne and Simon
Every love story is a tale of beginnings.
The beginning of a new life. The beginning of a journey.
My focus is to capture the beauty in-between.
I wont forget that week, the weather had been unpredictable and I kept hoping the skies would hold up. There had been a few clear days with a breathtaking sunset and I hoped that this would be one of them. Temperatures were optimum and Yvonne and Simon’s big day couldn’t have been more beautiful What can we say? It was a gorgeous day for this beautiful couple and all their friends and family were in attendance to witness their vow to marriage.
Venue was at Langata Botanical gardens and I spent a few days pondering how I would shoot the wedding creatively considering so many weddings had been done there before. It turned out that Yvonne and Simon were super flexible and their chemistry made the day. I couldn’t have prayed for a better match J
I hope you will also see all the joy-filled moments these two shared on March 1st Please, enjoy!
I loved the ring shots taken by one Sim Kamunde
the flower girl was cute throughout 🙂
meanwhile Yvonne couldn’t wait to go get hitched
I loved this shot! the amount of preparation done on a Kenyan bride is mind boggling. Its a science!!!
wasn’t she lovely!
meanwhile Simon was getting anxious too..
so he decided to check on the engine just to be sure everything was ok
and finally it was time to go to the church
the whole estate was bedazzled by the brides beauty and had couuld no longer just peep behind their curtains 😀
there she is!
Simon thanks The Man above..
The reaction by these kids did it for me #PG13
look how lovely the skies were
we headed for the photoshoot which basically was just fun
and of-course everyone had to get an individual photo
we packed up and headed for the reception party
after we discovered who the next bride would be, we decided to go on an adventure and capture a few shots with the Golden March sunset.
the following shots were not planned
with Yvonne and Simon, anywhere was a good place for a shot and yes thats my van (Joyce) in the background 🙂
I hadn’t noticed the policeman in the front seat *oops*
Simon really played the part
we found a gas station along the way
look at that magic!
At this point i realised i was having too much fun and had to let them go….
We wish Mr & Mrs Khakhali a wonderful and blessed marriage
and super Creative Hezron Karanja <a
