Mumbi & Winston – A wedding in The City
This post happens to be a favourite of mine, so it will be longer than the rest coz i had a hard time choosing what to post….. Mumbi and Wins started to plan this day ages ago (not sure when) and when they walked into my office, i had butterflies in my tummy coz Mumbi is an artist and it would be hard to impress one – She designed and did all the decor herself and i must admit i haven’t seen cooler decor yet… anyways, everything was planned to be simple and all travelling was within ONE kilometer for the whole day! It rained heavily in all parts of the city except the ones we happened to be, that was a blessing 🙂 The couple was very daring and seemed to be ok with all my suggestions and that really humbled me. Lemme save my words for now and let the pics do the talking. Mad props to my boy Wachira for coming through yet again with completly fresh ideas 🙂
notice the beautiful cityscape…
Who EVER thought Uhuru park would look this good?
finally i had a chance to pull off this shot which ive dreamt about for three years now…
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Nyabera, it was truely a wonderful day

One photo that I found extra stunning: top view of bride’s face with the lashes in focus and everything else out of focus. Brilliant! You should enter it in a photo competition (with the bride’s permission, of course).
